Vamp protection relays and feeder managers are used for protection, control and monitoring of the main ring units at wind farms. The IEC 61850 interface is used to connect a wind farm to the control centre, whereas Modbus TCP is used to connect protection relays to the automation system of the power plant field. |
The VAMP 121 arc flash protection unit has been successfully tested according to Halt standards for use in nacelle.
